AxonOps Cloud authentication
AxonOps Cloud provides three authentication methods:
- Email and password: an email address and password that AxonOps Cloud manages directly.
- Social sign-in: a Google or Microsoft account, where the provider authenticates the user.
- SAML single sign-on: an organisation’s own identity provider authenticates its users.
Sign-in is at the AxonOps Cloud console. The login card offers Sign in with Google, Sign in with Microsoft Account, and email and password fields.
Default method
Section titled “Default method”The method an account uses is set when the account is created. An account created with an email address and password signs in with email and password; an account created through Google or Microsoft signs in with social sign-in. The difference is which side verifies the credentials: AxonOps Cloud for an email-and-password account, or the provider for a social account.

SAML single sign-on for organisations
Section titled “SAML single sign-on for organisations”Enterprise customers can instead authenticate users through their own identity provider with SAML single sign-on. SAML is an additional feature, enabled per organisation on request.
When SAML is configured, users of the organisation sign in at https://<orgname>.axonops.cloud through the identity provider. The https://console.axonops.cloud sign-in continues to work.
